A little about me...

An honors student at UNC-Chapel Hill double majoring in Information Science and Media & Journalism. I am also a proud first-generation college student going into my junior year of college. I’ve been unconsciously exploring design since early middle school where I worked on page design for the yearbook and continued in college to explore technical publishing, graphic design, and multimedia before landing on UX Design by completing Google’s UX Design Professional Certificate through Coursera.

Soon after, I joined App Team Carolina as a UX/UI Designer where we have created two iOS apps: Bubbly and Centible. In the fall, I will be leading a Design Academy for our organization to educate future UX/UI Designers on how to conduct user research, build apps following Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, and usability test to enhance our designs for development. This summer, I was a UX Designer Intern for Lumen Technologies where I focused on web page optimization by gathering user analytics through Content Square and Adobe Analytics and conducted usability tests through User Testing to refine Lumen’s Marketplace and Brand Campaign.
